Hello Everyone
Just to let you know we are on our travles in the caravan once again. Gradually making our way across country to Papworth. This week we are visiting a niece who lives at Hurley in Warwickshire, then Saturday onwards to Papworth for a short "holiday" thereWink. There is a very obliging small caravan site, not too far from the hospital, and whenever I have to go for an appointment there, she always finds a little corner for us, even when the site is technically full. Apparently they get quite a lot of Papworth patients staying there in their caravans.
Our new little dog has taken to the caravanning "Gypsy" life style, and is loving it. Didn't think we would have any problems with her - biggest problem is stopping her rolling in nasty things like Badger muck!! She has already had to have 2 baths since we got her!! Good job she is only little and is obviously used to being bathed!!
Will get in here when we can get internet access - I know Papworth has good wireless connection on the ward, so will be taking my laptop in there with me.
Take Care All, and have a lovely Easter Break.
Regards
Margaret

Lovely to meet Jess - I have one quite similar, and she too finds badger poo her absolute favourite
perfume - terriers are all the same! but delighted you have found a lovely friend in Jess, animals are
just so companionable and not surprised she likes all your travels - but most importantly good luck
with your hospital trip - enjoy Jess!

Jess is gorgeous, but not looking too happy about her bath - suppose she prefers badger's poo!  Oh well - have a good trip and hope it goes well for you all.

Hello Everyone
Jess enjoying her holiday and looking happier than after bath!! Though she really does enjoy a bath and races like a lunatic after!!! She had one slight accident the other morning - thought we had a back door in caravan, like we have at home, and when she rushed through to the back of the van, she must have been desperate for a wee!!! She didn't make it back to the caravan door and wee'd right near Steph's bed!!! She never barks to go out for a wee so need to work on that!! However she is so obedient off lead and in caravan, so whoever trained her, did a good job on her. I shall miss her while I am in Papworth, as she makes me laugh so much with her antics!!
Hope everyone has had good Easter  - Off to site near Papworth tomorrow, so got 48 hours before I go in to make sure my ankles aren't swollen as don't want them telling me to reduce fluid intake even further!!! Fingers crossed that they are happier with my sats then maybe I wo'nt need oxygen so much, though have to admit not been using it during the day for a few weeks now, with no ill effects.

Good Luck at Papworth, hope it all goes well for you.
Jess is a beautiful little dog and great company I am sure. My two Springers drive me crazy some times (most of the time LOL) but I wouldn't be without them.

Hi everyone
Well here I am at Hotel de Papworth!! Only discovered today, that the consultant I saw on my first two visits her, was NOT Dr Joannna!! Turns out she was her locum so now have met Dr Joanna, and like the way she tells it to your straight!! They have today decided not to do RHC on this vist!! Phew and soooo glad about that!!Wink So instead I had to have another CT done. LFT's at 8-30am tomorrow, so no lounging about in bed!! LOL With a bit of luck they might let me out tomorrow.
Jess been to see me this afternoon - apparently she has fallen in love with my friends toy poodle called Oscar, same age, and thankfully they have both been "done" at the vets, so can't get up to "naughties"!! They play well together then she flirts with him and pinches his favourite toy when he is looking at her other end!! Not daft is she?? lol.
Hope everyone has had a good Easter and had lovely weather.
Jane - Glad to hear you got your passports eventually - what a  lot of hassle fror you though.
Catch up with you all after the weekend, as we are off to a rally near Dudley, on Saturday, so won't have the internet until next Tuesday.
Good news is I have been told I can go back to blowing with the band if I have the "puff" to do it, so will give it a go next month and see how I get on.
Thank you all for your messages and support.
Best Wishes to you all
Margaret
