I know I was told Air Liquiade, (my oxy company) that there are only a limited few portable concentrators available. I also think, I was told by them that it was a different oxy company supplying them and not Air Liquide.

From my bad experiences with Air Liquide and from what others say it would appear they are failing patients all the time.  I am not old and frail and wont just sit there crumpled up in the corner and not move on my oxygen meter.  I had enough of sitting at home before I had oxygen when i really couldnt get about because i was always so tired.  now on oxygen i want a life and this should not be denyed me.  These portable oxygen concentrators may be expensive to purchase but Jack has already said that each person on oxygen costs the nhs £1,000 per year - so within 3 years they are paid for and this should save the nhs in the long run, so the cost should not be a problem.
