NUTS CHALLENGE
Saturday 1st September 2012
Taking place over Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd September 2012, The Nuts Adventure Race Course is approximately 7KM long and is one of the most challenging army assault courses, located in Dorking, Surrey, near London.
The Nuts Assault Course has a 1km cross country run, climb 3m high bales of hay, crawling in the dark, climb through windows and doors before finally crossing a roof into the woodlands where you encounter fallen trees, river crossing, slippery banks and uphill tunnels.
Then it's through a traditional assault course, with rope swings and high walls and to a steeper terrain; through a flowing river, brush and swamp, onto the steeple chase - over fences and the big and little dippers. Descend mud slides and traverse murky ponds ending with a quarter km run back to the finish.
If this is not challenging enough why not try the Mixed Nuts (2 times Round), Completely Nuts (3 times round) or the Tough Nuts (4 times round).

Tough Nuts (4 times round)
You serious nuts will need to be the fittest of the fit and want to be on the front row. Seriously nuttie competitors ready to take on the toughest challenge ahead of the pack!

Completely Nuts (3 times round)
Next in line are the 'completely nuts' competitors who consider themselves to be gym gods and completely fit. Do you have the spirit to catch those tough nuts!!

Mixed Nuts (2 times round)
'Mixed nuts' are the heart and soul of the Nuts pack. Happy to just be part of a crowd of nuttie people, running along at your own pace, enjoying every moment of muddy fun.

More Nuts (1 times round)
For those Nuts who want to dress up and just have fun, this Nuttie section is the perfect excuse! We even give a prize to the best outfit.

The PHA doesn't have any places for these events, but will send out a fundraising pack which consists of sponsorship forms, leaflets, posters and merchandise. To find out more and to register for these events visit the official website www.TheNutsChallenge.co.uk

Monday 29th October 2012
This is the 31st year of the National Lottery Dublin Marathon, which is run through the historic Georgian streets of Dublin, Ireland's largest and capital city. The Friendly Marathon
The reaction of many thousands of spectators lining the city streets for the event has been largely responsible for the success of marathon down through the years. It's no wonder that the National Lottery Dublin Marathon is internationally known as the 'Friendly Marathon'.
