** In line with new United States legislation which stipulates that all airlines operating from, within or flying to the United States must allow passengers who require supplemental oxygen in-flight to be able use their own portable oxygen concentrator, a growing number of airlines are adopting this policy for flights outside of the US as well. Each operator that does allow portable oxygen concentrators has a list of approved battery only operated portable oxygen concentrators, if your machine is on the list you will be expected to have batteries with you to supply power for the portable unit to cover 150% of any single flight’s duration. It's important that these batteries are tagged as approved for use in-flight, carried as hand baggage and brought to the attention of security staff ahead of security procedures.
