'Pulmonary hypertension diagnosis and management' is a medical education programme that has been developed to educate non-PH specialist healthcare professionals (including GPs, nurses and peripheral PH clinicians eg nurses, cardiac technicians, paramedics) about PH, and raise awareness about the issues surrounding the management of patients with PH. It has been developed by the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) UK in conjunction with a team of PH specialists (including nurse specialists, nurse consultants, consultant physicians and pharmacists) and non-PH specialists from across the UK. The course is being run in collaboration with Edge Hill University.
The programme has been designed to offer personal and professional development according to your individual needs. The course can be used to gain 20 academic credits towards your degree or masters degree qualification. Alternatively, it can be used as part of your continuing professional development.
